Senior RMA Electronic Repair Technician

The role also supports continuous improvement efforts through root-cause analysis, test system development, and collaboration with product development teams, while mentoring less experienced technicians.u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eu003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eDuties:u003c/strongu003eu003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eIncluding but not limited to:u003c/strongu003eu003c/divu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eTroubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned electronic products.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003ePerform component-level repairs on returned devices.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eCollect repair data and maintain an accurate repair database.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eProvide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAssist with the design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and systems, including hardware, software, and mechanical components.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eSupport the development and documentation of troubleshooting protocols.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eProvide feedback to product development teams for design improvements and enhancements.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003ePerform additional duties as assigned.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cdivu003eu003cstrongu003eSkills and Qualifications:u003c/strongu003eu003c/divu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eAssociate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, completion of military electronics training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eMinimum of 5 years of experience in component-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic products.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eExperience soldering both fine-pitch SMT and through-hole PCB assemblies.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eExperience working with microprocessor- and microcontroller-based products.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eExperience troubleshooting and repairing analog circuits.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eExperience with switching power supplies preferred.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eExperience developing automated test systems preferred.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eIPC soldering certification (IPC-J-STD-001 and/or IPC 7711/7721) preferred.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAbility to troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level using schematics and test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAbility to solder both through-hole and fine-pitch surface mount components.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eWorking knowledge of lab safety practices.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eStrong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and take initiative.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAbility to work independently and as part of a team.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eWillingness to mentor junior technicians.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eBasic proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cdivu003eu0026 u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eu003cstrongu003eDisclaimer:u003c/strongu003e Please note that we are unable to provide job sponsorships, including, but not limited to, visas, corp-to-corp arrangements (C2C), or any other form of sponsorship for employment.
