Pay: $33.86 u2013 $35.86 per hour Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM u2013 6:30 PM Worksite: Onsite u2013 Houston, TX Travel: Up to 15% Responsibilities for a Welder / Mechanical Assembler (Gas Turbines) include but are not limited to: Fit, tack, and weld mechanical components per drawings and welding standards Perform GTAW welding on stainless steel and low-alloy materials (ASME B31.3, P8 6G) Read and interpret complex assembly drawings, schematics, and specifications Assemble and install mechanical components on gas turbines and compressor packages Inspect, clean, stage, and inventory parts prior to assembly Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments safely Assist with alignments, part installation, and rigging activities Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Material Control teams Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent welding experience 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment or mechanical assembly manufacturing Strong welding experience with stainless steel piping (GTAW P8 6G required) Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding procedures Experience working in a shop or industrial manufacturing environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs This Mechanical Assembler / Welder role is being recruited by Adeccou2019s Centralized Delivery Team.
