Job Description Company & Team Overview Our client is a corporate holding company supporting a portfolio of operating businesses. This role provides corporate level accounting support across multiple entities in a lean, high retention environment. u2022u2003Supports 6 core corporate entities u2022u2003Monthly close with a target 10-day timeline u2022u2003Close dependent on portfolio companies completing their close u2022u2003Systems used: ou2003NetSuite ERP ou2003Ramp for expense management The Senior Accountant is a fully rounded corporate accounting role responsible for day to day accounting operations, cash management, and general ledger ownership across multiple entities. This position blends transactional AP and AR work with higher level accounting responsibilities and plays a key role in monthly and quarterly close activities. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities u2022u2003Manage cash balances and perform cash forecasting u2022u2003Transfer funds to portfolio companies as needed u2022u2003Bill portfolio companies for intercompany interest and premiums u2022u2003Own general ledger activities including journal entries and account reconciliations u2022u2003Perform bank reconciliations u2022u2003Support monthly and quarterly close processes u2022u2003Assist with audit requests and tax related documentation u2022u2003Process accounts payable and ensure vendors and portfolo entities are paid accurately and on time u2022u2003Support accounts receivable activities as needed u2022u2003Review, code, and process invoices using NetSuite and Ramp u2022u2003Improve and document accounting processes and workflows ________________________________________ Role Composition u2022u2003Approximately 60 percent focused on AP and AR activities u2022u2003Approximately 40 percent focused on GL, cash management, payroll preparation, and close support Role Composition u2022u2003Approximately 60 percent focused on AP and AR activities u2022u2003Approximately 40 percent focused on GL, cash management, payroll preparation, and close support We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
