About the Role The Logistics Support Specialist manages a portfolio of customers with the goal of delivering exceptional service throughout every stage of the order lifecycle. This position plays a key role in supporting distribution material sales, executing RFQ followu2011ups, and ensuring performance targets are met in alignment with objectives set by the Vice President of Sales. Key Responsibilities + Manage customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs) by analyzing requirements, checking stock availability, reviewing purchasing contracts, and referencing prior supplier requests. + Prepare customer offers based on the best supply source as determined by Procurement (certifications, pricing, lead time). + Conduct RFQ followu2011up activities, including email communication, phone calls, videoconferences, and occasional customer visits. + Build and maintain strong, sustainable customer relationships by providing clear product and order information, including explaining complex technical details. + Proactively address customer complaints and coordinate resolutions with internal teams (Quality & Compliance, Finance, Operations, etc.). + Monitor daily KPIsu2014Sales, Margin, Bookings, OTIF %, Order Book, and moreu2014using BI tools such as Qlik, and implement corrective actions when needed. + Support additional duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the company. Required Skills & Qualifications + Ability to critically review and interpret technical product specifications. + Experience monitoring performance targets through BI tools. + Strong proficiency in MS Office , especially Excel . + Handsu2011on experience with SAP and Salesforce . + Working knowledge of quality audit processes and Quality Management Systems. + Market awareness within supply chain, aerospace, or related industries is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethpage, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
