We take pride in offering a competitive wage and great benefits including: $18.00 Base Rate plus $0.50 shift differential Work Schedule: u2022 Sunday through Wednesday 3pm until finished Additional Benefits: u2022 Paid Time Off u2022 Medical Insurance u2022 Dental Insurance u2022 Vision Insurance u2022 Life Insurance u2022 401K u2022 Associate Referral Program u2022 $125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employment Our associates also enjoy numerous associate discounts and opportunities to grow with the organization Cold Storage facility: 28u00b0 F to 55u00b0 F Job Responsibilities: u2022 Accurately match numbers & letters u2022 Accurately stage and sort products for loading u2022 Loads and unloads trailers u2022 Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas u2022 Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets u2022 Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) u2022 Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system u2022 Quality control / Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received u2022 Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information u2022 Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets u2022 Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms u2022 Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line u2022 Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards u2022 Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) u2022 Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: u2022 No prior warehouse experience required but preferred. u2022 High school diploma or equivalent preferred u2022 Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required u2022 Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required u2022 Flexible to work overtime preferred u2022 Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required u2022 Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job u2022 Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required u2022 Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
