General Production Worker

Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food production line. You will be responsible for various tasks such as tray scraping, magazine supply, and maintaining cleanliness in the production area. Responsibilities + Wear and maintain gloves in a sanitary manner, switching them out as you rotate. + Supply cups for all cup setter magazines and clear any stuck cup paper. + Scrape trays and keep the cupsetter area clean at all times. + Ensure the correct cup paper size is used and each tray cavity receives one cup paper. + Reposition incorrectly deposited cup papers and replace damaged ones. + Clean Tonnaer screw when the line is down for one shift or longer. + Remove defective products from the inspection belt and handle rework. + Monitor for product jams and perform metal detection checks. + Fill cases with the required number of bags and monitor bag seal integrity. + Inspect wrapped products and reset the main line after stops. + Rotate through stations efficiently, fill and seal cases, and perform product quality tracking. Essential Skills + Experience in production, general labor, packaging, and food manufacturing. + Ability to work both 2nd and 3rd shifts, rotating between them. + Completion of 1st week training on 1st shift. + Ability to follow all GMPs in a food manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with packer/picker/cleaning/hand packing. + Steel-toed or composite-toed shoes required. + Wearing of pants (jeans acceptable without rips), hair net, beard net, jacket (provided), hard hat, and gloves. + No jewelry, hoodies are not allowed, and long sleeves must not be rolled up.
