Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description This role involves hands-on mechanical and light electrical assembly supporting the production of brushless DC motors within a structured manufacturing environment. The position is pivotal in supporting the production of small drone engines. Responsibilities + Assemble motor components including stators, rotors, housings, shafts, and bearings. + Follow detailed work instructions, torque specifications, and standard operating processes. + Perform light electrical assembly including wire soldering and connector installation. + Operate basic assembly equipment such as presses, fixtures, and balancing equipment as trained. + Conduct in-process inspections and basic quality checks. + Accurately record production and traceability data. + Identify and escalate defects or process deviations. + Maintain 5S workstation standards and comply with all safety and PPE requirements. Essential Skills + 1-3 years of electrical assembly or machine operation experience. + For Lead Technician: 5+ years of experience. + Electric motor or electromechanical assembly experience preferred. + 1+ year soldering experience for Machine Operator. + For Lead Technician: 5+ years of soldering experience. + Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience. + Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions. + Understanding of mechanical assembly and electrical components. + High school diploma or GED. + Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in ISO or quality-controlled manufacturing environments. + Electric motor or electromechanical assembly experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a fast-paced production floor on an assembly line in a conditioned warehouse. Tasks are repetitive and require manual dexterity. Safety equipment such as safety glasses and gloves are mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tobyhanna, PA.
