Aerotek is hiring for a Flagger with WEEKLY pay ? $19/hr Dayshift NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Job Description We are seeking dedicated and safety-focused Flaggers to support roadway construction and maintenance projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety of workers, drivers, and pedestrians by directing traffic flow around active work zones. Candidates should be alert, dependable, and able to communicate effectively in fast-changing environments. Responsibilities + Direct and control traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and radios to maintain safe movement through work zones. + Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades according to company and state standards. + Monitor road and worksite conditions and adjust traffic control patterns as needed to ensure safety. + Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and the public to coordinate safe operations. + Follow all safety protocols and report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues immediately. + Stand for extended periods and remain attentive throughout the shift, regardless of weather conditions. Essential Skills + Construction + Traffic management + Traffic control + Safety + General labor + Roadway Additional Skills & Qualifications + Steel toe boots required/composite boots that need to come above the ankle. + Valid driveru2019s license and reliable transportation. + Ability to lift 30u201350 lbs and work outdoors in all weather. + Strong situational awareness and communication skills. + Ability to remain calm and professional with the public. + Prior flagging or construction experience is a plus but not required. + Traffic Control certification (or willingness to obtain one).
