Job Title: Conveyor Belt Technicians and Fabricator (Experience Required u2013 No Exceptions) Location: Lakewood, WA 98499 (and Tacoma area) Pay Rate: $21u2013$28/hr DOE Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 7:00amu20134:00pm Availability: Must be fully flexible for OT, weekends, holidays, and 24/7/365 onu2011call emergency service Employment Type: Full-Time (Temp- to-hire) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Belt Technician to join our team. This role is critical to supporting customers across industries such as food manufacturing, bottling, and pharmaceuticals. The Belt Technician will fabricate, install, service, and repair conveyor belts both in our shop and at customer sites. Important: Handsu2011on experience manufacturing, fabricating, and servicing conveyor belts is REQUIRED and NONu2011NEGOTIABLE for this position. Candidates without prior beltu2011technician or conveyoru2011belt fabrication experience will not be considered . Key Responsibilities u00b7 Fabrication & Installation: Construct, splice, and install lightweight conveyor belts based on customer specifications. u00b7 Field Service Work: Travel to customer locations for installations, troubleshooting, and emergency repairsu2014jobs may last from a few hours to several weeks. u00b7 Maintenance & Diagnostics: Perform system inspections, identify failures, and implement repairs to minimize downtime. u00b7 Safety & Equipment Operation: Safely operate industrial tools and equipment (including forklifts) and comply with all OSHA and company safety standards. u00b7 Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate service reports, installation summaries, and recommendations. u00b7 Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, assess belt inventory, and provide improvement suggestions. Required Qualifications u00b7 Mandatory Experience: Direct, proven experience in conveyor belt fabrication, installation, servicing, or repair. This requirement is not negotiable . u00b7 Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and accurate tapeu2011measure reading. u00b7 Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and maneuver in confined spaces. u00b7 Driveru2019s License: Must have a valid, clean driveru2019s license. u00b7 Education: High school diploma or equivalent. u00b7 Work Flexibility: Willingness to work OT, weekends, holidays, and participate in 24/7 onu2011call service rotations.
