Requisition ID: 178711 Job Level: Mid Level Home District/Group: Southeast District Department: Field Supervision Market: Transportation Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview The Structual Superintendent is responsible for managing and supervising all field operations on heavy civil/structural projects such as a large-scale hurricane repair job to include pedestrian trail reconstruction, bridges, drainage etc. This role ensures that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and schedules. The Structural Superintendent serves as the primary leader in the field, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and resources to deliver high-quality results while fostering a culture of safety and teamwork. District Overview Kiewit's Southeast District specializes in heavy civil, transportation and water resource markets, and has played a significant role in building infrastructure throughout the fast-growing southeastern United States. Since the 1970s, we have built projects from Maryland to Florida and west to Louisiana. Responsibilities + Direct and oversee daily field activities, including scheduling, workforce allocation, and equipment management. + Enforce Kiewitu2019s Zero Harm safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives. + Monitor progress, quality, and productivity; implement corrective actions when necessary. + Manage material deliveries and maintain inventory to prevent delays. + Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports and timecards. + Mentor and develop field staff to build a strong, capable team. #LI-MP2 Qualifications + Education: High school diploma required; bacheloru2019s degree in construction management or related field preferred. + Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in civil/structural construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. + Has experience working on mountainous terrain. + Must have experience working on bridges,roads or related. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. + Ability to travel and relocate based on project needs. + Experience in concrete and structural steel bridge experience + Ability to develop and/or review crane pick plans #LI-MP2 Working Conditions Ability to work in mountainous terrian Other Requirements: + Regular, reliable attendance + Work productively and meet deadlines timely + Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. + Perform work safely and effectively.
