Description We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will focus on creating impactful data visualizations and delivering strategic insights that support business decision-making. This position combines technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and collaboration to develop innovative solutions that enhance data-driven processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Design and implement data visualization and business intelligence tools to facilitate informed decision-making. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups that align with business objectives. u2022 Develop innovative solutions to transform complex datasets into clear and actionable insights. u2022 Identify and resolve challenges related to data quality, infrastructure, and visualization tools. u2022 Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into business intelligence processes to maintain a competitive edge. u2022 Establish and contribute to best practices, standards, and strategies for data analysis and visualization. u2022 Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technology, to transition prototypes into fully functional solutions. u2022 Monitor and evaluate the impact of visualizations and tools by gathering stakeholder feedback and refining outputs as needed. u2022 Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in all visualizations and analyses. u2022 Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining efficiency and meeting deadlines. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Data Science, or a related discipline. u2022 At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, or a similar analytical role. u2022 Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or comparable data visualization tools. u2022 Strong knowledge of SQL, APIs, and other data integration technologies. u2022 Proven ability to create data visualizations that lead to actionable insights and measurable outcomes. u2022 Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. u2022 Solid understanding of visual design principles and their application in data storytelling. u2022 Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
