Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a dynamic manufacturing company in Cudahy, Wisconsin. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with the accounting and credit management team, contributing to essential financial operations. As a Contract to permanent position, this role provides a pathway to long-term career growth in a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Generate treasury information reports to support financial decision-making. u2022 Process remittances, including handling high volumes of wire transfers and electronic payments daily. u2022 Manage invoices through an online portal, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Handle credit card payment transactions efficiently. u2022 Provide backup assistance for accounts receivable tasks, including cash applications. u2022 Utilize Dynamics AX, Adobe, and Excel software for accounting operations. u2022 Collaborate with team members to maintain a business casual work environment. u2022 Work a consistent first-shift schedule, Monday to Friday, for 40 hours per week. u2022 Ensure parking arrangements are utilized efficiently onsite. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in Dynamics AX for financial operations. u2022 Strong skills in cash applications and invoice processing. u2022 Experience with electronic remittance and wire transfer handling. u2022 Ability to manage credit card payments with accuracy. u2022 Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
