Electronics Technician

Job Description In this role, you will utilize a variety of test procedures, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics to test, troubleshoot, and repair integrated unit-level assemblies and circuit board assemblies down to the component level. You will also support assembly processes for both unit subassembly and the final integration of unit-level assemblies. Responsibilities + Perform in-circuit and functional tests and component-level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies. + Utilize mechanical skills to disassemble and reassemble products per drawings or other documents using common tools. + Assemble, test, and troubleshoot subassembly-level components. + Integrate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex end-item. Essential Skills + Troubleshooting + Electronics knowledge + Ability to understand engineering and electrical schematics + Mechanical skills for assembly processes Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent military training. + Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry. + Capability of troubleshooting complex assemblies to the component level. + Understanding of written work instructions and electronic and mechanical drawings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
