Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Class A-B CDL Driver to safely operate concrete trucks, delivering ready-mix concrete to various job sites in Hickory, KY, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a commitment to safety, and strong customer service skills. As a Concrete Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, performing equipment maintenance, and maintaining high safety standards on the road and at the job site. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class A-B concrete truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites in Hickory, KY, and surrounding areas. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues. Ensure proper operation of the mixing system and chute to deliver concrete as required by the job site. Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any issues. Maintain truck cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as needed. Assist with loading, unloading, and placement of concrete as required. Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and DOT regulations. Provide professional, courteous service to customers at all times. Qualifications: Valid Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record. 6 months to 1 year of experience driving a concrete mixer truck or other large commercial vehicles. Ability to safely operate automatic and/or 10-speed semi trucks and concrete mixers. Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials as needed. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
