Maintenance Assistant

Job Title: Maintenance Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift Maintenance Assistant to join our team, responsible for assisting with basic facility, grounds, and maintenance tasks. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and more. Additionally, you will handle facility maintenance tasks such as painting and hanging items, and maintain the yard and grounds by mowing, weed eating, pulling weeds, picking up trash, removing snow, and salting. You will be part of a supportive maintenance team that will help grow and develop your skills, with opportunities to advance to a Maintenance Technician role. Occasionally, you may need to commute between plants using a company vehicle, so a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required. Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, etc. + Conduct facility maintenance including painting and hanging items. + Maintain yard and grounds through mowing, weed eating, trash pickup, snow removal, and salting. + Ensure all areas are tidy and well-maintained. + Work under the maintenance team to develop skills for future advancement. + Commute between plants occasionally in a company vehicle. Essential Skills + 1-2+ years of industrial PM Tech or Maintenance Assistant experience (trade school/education can substitute). + Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tools and machinery. + Clear MVR and valid driver's license. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in facility/grounds maintenance. + Formal education in a trade program, including training, certifications, or a degree. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bristol, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr. - This is a privately held, family owned company.
