As an INDOT Project Supervisor, you will oversee the inspection of construction projects, both locally and federally funded, acting as an owner's representative. This higher-level role involves management, direct communication with owners, and a key focus on growing the Merrillville office. Responsibilities + Review, interpret, and understand contract documents proficiently, providing guidance to staff and solutions to contractors on project issues. + Lead, organize, communicate, and summarize construction project meetings efficiently. + Deliver INDOT final construction records with a strong understanding of INDOT processes. + Lead large projects and manage a team of inspectors effectively. + Perform data entry and review work in INDOT Sitemanager/Aashtoware with attention to detail. + Utilize basic software tools such as Excel and Word effectively. + Communicate project details clearly to the owner.
