Job Title: Compliance Specialist Job Description Join a dedicated team as a Data Validation Specialist within the Engineering Integrity group, where you will play a crucial role in supporting operational and compliance work. Your primary focus will be on data validation, documentation support, and coordinating records across multiple systems to ensure accurate and complete information is available before field or project work begins. This role is centered on data and documentation rather than engineering or design. Responsibilities + Review data, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. + Verify forms and internal records within company systems to confirm the presence of required information aligned with planned work. + Examine dig reports, inspection records, and historical spreadsheets to extract key details impacting upcoming work. + Identify and flag notable callouts or conditions from past data for engineering or operations teams. + Navigate internal databases to retrieve location, asset, and line information as needed. + Convert location data using provided tools or calculators. + Create dig sheets or coordinate with vendors to obtain supporting documentation for field activities. + Assemble concise job scope summaries using information provided by engineers or internal stakeholders. + Ensure documentation is organized, consistent, and ready for use before work begins. + Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and compliance teams while managing repeatable tasks independently. Essential Skills + Proficiency in data analysis and data collection. + Experience or aptitude in data compliance and document analysis. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). + Strong professional communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Analytical and problem-solving mindset. + 1-5 years of experience in a data analysis role. + Previous experience working in an engineering firm or technical environment. Work Environment This position offers an open-ended, long-term contract with a commitment of at least 3-4 years. It involves remote work with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be willing to drive to the Owensboro office once a month for document scanning, if within a two-hour driving distance. The work environment is a quiet engineering office with a casual dress code, fostering a collaborative and relaxed team atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Owensboro, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
