Adecco is assisting a local client in Hopkinsville, KY to fill a Groundskeeper position. This is long term opportunity. Pay Rate: $12.50 an hr. Hours: 7am u2013 3pm RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining site landscaping. u00b7 Maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation. u00b7 Fertilizing lawn, trees, flowers and shrubs, and spreading mulch. u00b7 Trimming trees, hedges, and shrubs, and preventing and eliminating weeds. u00b7 Operating and maintaining hand tools, such as saws and shovels efficiently. u00b7 Operating and maintaining trucks and power tools. u00b7 Utilizing insecticides, fertilizers, and chemical sprays to treat diseases. u00b7 Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, and debris, and emptying trash receptacles. u00b7 Conducting basic irrigation audits and performing basic irrigation repairs. u00b7 Removing snow by using a shovel or snow blower. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. u00b7 Valid driveru2019s license. u00b7 Proficient in using manual and power tools safely. u00b7 Free from allergies that interfere with Groundskeeper duties. u00b7 Ability to follow instructions. u00b7 Physically agile and dexterous.
