Maintenance Electrician

Job Posting: Maintenance Electrician Pay: Up to $33u2013$39/hr + 9.58% shift differential Schedule: Rotating Dupont/Swing Shift (12u2011hour shifts) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities within a heavy industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical diagnostic skills, experience with PLCu2011based systems, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, safetyu2011focused setting. Key Responsibilities u2022 Troubleshoot ladder logic, read ladder diagrams, and identify electrical components causing equipment issues. u2022 Work with PLC5 RS Logic , performing diagnostics and system adjustments to optimize performance. u2022 Inspect and maintain proximity switches, limit switches, and variable speed drives (VSDs) to ensure reliable operation. u2022 Troubleshoot 480V AC motors , diagnose faults, and perform necessary repairs. u2022 Wire and configure 480V motors , ensuring proper installation and compliance with electrical standards. u2022 Collaborate with electricians, mechanics, and maintenance teams to resolve complex electrical issues. Qualifications u2022 Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control equipment, and fluid control mechanisms. u2022 Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts. u2022 Familiar with insulating materials, soldering techniques, and replacement parts management. u2022 Physically capable of completing lift tests and pulmonary function assessments. u2022 Comfortable working rotating shift schedules and mandatory overtime when required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $78000.00/yr. - 9.58% shift differential once they move onto swing shift (Approximately an extra 3/hr)- They can test every 6 months to test into higher tech level and get pay increase- Only non-union smelter facility in the U.S- 401K matches 6%. Benefits start on Day 1 (Full medical, dental and vision coverage u2013 very competitive benefits and multiple options. You can get full copy during interview)- $300 tool stipend each year- All uniforms and PPE are provide by company, including prescription safety glasses- Free clinic onsite for check ups or any issues that happen during the day- Quarterly bonus up to 10% of what they have made in total that quarter. This is based on company profitability. They currently are averaging 4-6% per quartero Quarter bonus is tied to attendance.- HUGE on promoting from within.
