Job Title: Traveling Safety Coordinator (Data Center) Job Description An Energy Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of energy systems during construction and commissioning, particularly in complex environments such as data centers. This position requires a deep commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities + Oversee and enforce electrical safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. + Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations like NFPA 70E and OSHA. + Review documentation, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on energy isolation procedures. + Coordinate energization and de-energization activities with various stakeholders. + Participate in high-risk activity planning meetings related to energy isolation. + Maintain and update relevant documentation such as single-line drawings. Essential Skills + Experience in construction and electrical work. + Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. + Accredited board certified certification for safety such as CHST, CSP, or STSC. + Minimum of 2 years of electrical construction experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in data center environments is preferred. Work Environment The role is situated in a construction environment, often within data centers. It necessitates adherence to safety protocols and may involve coordination with various stakeholders in high-risk activities. The position requires familiarity with standard construction attire and safety equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
