Energy Marshal

Job Title: Energy MarshalJob Description An Energy Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of energy systems during construction and commissioning, especially in complex environments like data centers. Responsibilities + Oversee and enforce electrical safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. + Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations such as NFPA 70E and OSHA. + Review documentation, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on energy isolation procedures. + Coordinate energization and de-energization activities with various stakeholders. + Participate in high-risk activity planning meetings related to energy isolation. + Maintain and update relevant documentation, including single-line drawings. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electrical systems and safety standards. + Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70E. + Experience in data center environments. + Familiarity with electrical construction processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + More than 10 years of experience in electrical contracting. + Attention to detail and quality-minded approach. Work Environment The position follows a work schedule of four 10-hour days and two 8-hour days. It involves working in a dynamic environment, particularly within data centers, where adherence to safety protocols and precise documentation is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr.
