Refinery Technician

Refinery Technician (Night Shift) Chemical Operator 6:30 PM u2013 6:30 AM We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Refinery Technician to support overnight operations at our glycerin refinery. This role is critical to maintaining safe, efficient production through equipment operation, process monitoring, quality control, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently on night shift, follows safety protocols rigorously, and takes pride in hands-on technical work. What Youu2019ll Be Doing (At a Glance) + Operate refinery and field equipment in a glycerin production facility + Monitor and adjust processes using Distributed Control Systems (DCS) + Watch alarms, process data, and equipment health to keep operations running safely and efficiently + Collect quality samples and deliver them to the lab + Handle and dose chemicals according to production needs + Perform basic preventive maintenance and report mechanical issues + Follow all safety proceduresu2014especially around chemicals, heat, steam, and pressurized systems Mustu2011Have Skills + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability + Experience or comfort in industrial, mechanical, or construction environments + Quality control awareness + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs routinely + Valid driveru2019s license + Basic computer skills + Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around industrial equipment Niceu2011tou2011Have Experience + Forklift operation + Machine operating or production work + Inspection or maintenance experience + Hand and power tool use + Cleanroom or chemical processing environments Work Schedule & Environment ? 6:30 PM u2013 6:30 AM 12u2011hour rotating shift ?
