Tool Technician Assistant

Job Title: Tool Technician Assistant Pay: Up to $22 Location: Camanche, IA Job Description Join our team as a Tool Technician Assistant where you will play a crucial role in maintaining hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps essential for solar tracking system installation. You will collaborate closely with the onsite Mechanic, assisting when needed and independently covering tasks in the Mechanic's absence. Responsibilities + Maintain and service hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps. + Partner with the onsite Mechanic as a helper and provide independent coverage when necessary. + Issue and retrieve specific hand tools for daily use, ensuring their availability and condition. + Inspect, clean, and perform light maintenance on hand tools daily. + Ensure all tools are prepared and in optimal condition for the next day. Essential Skills + Reliability and mechanical aptitude. + Previous experience on a solar site or demonstrated mechanical skills. + Adherence to company and worksite safety standards. + Ability to conduct routine service and inspection of equipment for faults and repairs. + Excellent communication skills. + Organized and clean workspace maintenance. + Basic problem-solving skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in construction. + Familiarity with hand tools. + Ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions. Why Work Here?
