Job Description The Environmental Coordinator works closely with local operations staff and management to ensure full compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and steel Environmental Management System (EMS), certified to the ISO 14001 Standard. The role also provides support to other Steel facilities as directed by the Environmental Manager. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements Required Education: u2003u2003u2022 Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related environmental field u2003Required Experience: u2003u2003u2022 Minimum of four (4) years of experience managing a comprehensive environmental compliance program u2003Preferred Experience: u2003u2003u2022 Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing a comprehensive environmental compliance program. u2003u2003u2022 Experience in air, water and waste permitting u2003u2003u2022 Prior experience in heavy manufacturing. u2003u2003u2022 Experience working with an ISO 14001 program. u2003u2003u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Share Point, Minitab 17, and Power Point. u2003The employee will occasionally be required to: u2003u2003u2022 Periodically work in the mill environment and plant grounds with some exposure to heat/extreme cold, wet and humid conditions; u2003u2003u2022 Amid fumes, dust, dirt and smoke, noise, mechanical, electrical, chemical hazards and industrial magnets; u2003u2003u2022 Walking/stairs and wearing safety equipment/ clothing for protection from hazards u2003u2003u2022 Push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. u2003The position requires the following vision and hearing capabilities: u2003u2003u2022 Talking person to person, on the phone, and/or in group settings; u2003u2003u2022 Hearing in person, on the phone, and/or in group settings; u2003u2003u2022 Vision at near, mid and far range and depth perception.
