Composite Technician

Job Title: Composite Technician Job Description We are seeking dedicated Composite Technicians to join our team on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role is crucial for the manufacturing and assembly of composite parts, requiring attention to detail and technical skills. Responsibilities + Follow general instructions and sketches to manufacture composite parts. + Assemble and fabricate parts using hand tools. + Perform repetitive tasks and maintain cleanliness of the workstation. + Collaborate with supervisors to address any issues. + Operate equipment such as hand knives, automated cutters, mold presses, and shop equipment like grinders and drills. + Record fabrication or machine operating parameters. + Use inspection devices such as protractors, calipers, and micrometers. Essential Skills + At least 6 months of manufacturing or production experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms. + Basic math skills. + Strong eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. + Ability to lift and/or move up to 45 lbs using proper techniques. + Steady work history. . Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in composites is a plus. + Security clearance is highly advantageous. + High School Diploma or GED required. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates within a manufacturing environment on the shop floor. Some areas may become hot during the summer. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cromwell, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.20 - $24.50/hr.
