Job Title: Logistic Specialist I Job Description Join a dynamic team operating the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure. We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to fill the Datacenter Logistics Associate positions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities + Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities. + Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check out parts to Datacenter Technicians and Engineers as needed. + Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations. + Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out. + Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces. Essential Skills + 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. + High School diploma or equivalent. + Ability to work overtime as required. + Proficiency in reading and following directions in English. + Capability to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances. + Willingness to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. + Ability to climb and descend stairs safely. + Regularly walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. + Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment. + Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance. + Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired. + Push or pull heavy objects into position. + Work in a noisy environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience using Inventory Management Systems. + Understanding of inventory control methodology. + Demonstrated positive work attitude and leadership skills. + Ability to perform above minimum for extended periods of time. + Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Work Environment The work environment varies from an office setting with low to moderate noise levels to a warehouse environment where the noise level can be loud. Occasionally, employees may be exposed to extreme weather conditions. The temperature is typically between 60 and 90 degrees but can occasionally exceed 90 degrees. Work involves handling and being around moving mechanical parts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hermiston, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
