If Forklift Operator sounds like something you would be interested in, and you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now Responsibilities for a Forklift Operator include but are not limited to: + Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift or heavy equipment to move, stack, and relocate merchandise; perform daily safety and fluid checks (oil, water, fuel) to ensure equipment is mission-ready. + Production Support: Supply packaging lines with empty pallets, operate stretch-wrap machinery, and transport palletized finished goods from production lines to designated inventory rows. + Shipping & Receiving: Accurately load carrier trucks according to Bills of Lading (BOLs), communicate SKU changes to dispatch, and conduct physical inventory counts to meet quality standards. + Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by picking up debris, restacking pallets, and washing assigned equipment. Candidates for Forklift Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered: + Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb on/off equipment, and remain seated for long periods in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) or dusty environments. + Technical Skills: High School Diploma or GED; must successfully pass a Forklift Assessment and demonstrate basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). + Communication & Literacy: Ability to read and write English to follow complex instructions and document inventory/BOL changes clearly. + Availability: Flexibility to work a consistent second shift and a willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.
