summary Pipe WelderJob Summary: Pipe welder proficient in welding techniquesPay: $25-$31 depends on experienceShift: 2nd shift – 6:00 pm – 5:30am, (flexible to 10-hour shifts/Saturdays required)Duties:Proficient in assigned welding techniquesInterpretation of mechanical drawings, including the ability to read weld symbolsKnowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materialsWorking knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)Convention and precision measuring instrumentsProcess inspection, certification, and documentationWelding equipment maintenance and inspectionFinish grinding applications using manual and power toolsSafety and housekeepingOther duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements:Minimum 3+ year experience working within a manufacturing environment/facilityAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Able to stand for 8–10-hour shifts required-skills: Steel-toed footwear required-experience: 3 years of experience
