This role involves reading pick reports or using RF scanners to locate, select, and palletize products in accordance with company standards. In addition to order selecting, the Order Selector may assist with receiving and shipping functions, including unloading inbound products, verifying quantities, staging completed orders, and preparing outbound shipments. Order Selectors are expected to work efficiently and safely while meeting established productivity, accuracy, and quality expectations. The position requires frequent walking, lifting, and the ability to work in varying warehouse conditions, including cold temperaturesThis role requires flexibility to work various schedules based on business needs. Sunday availability is required and is nonnegotiableDuties Include but are not limited to:Select, assemble, and prepare customer orders using pick reports and casepack procedures in accordance with company standardsAccurately identify products, quantities, lot numbers, and expiration datesDecant produce from cases or pallets into designated production bins to prepare items for nextday processing.Receive inbound products by unloading, inspecting, verifying quantities, and placing products in assigned storage or staging areasAssist with shipping functions, including staging completed orders, verifying pallet accuracy, wrapping, labeling, and loading product for outbound shipmentsStack, wrap, and secure products on pallets to prevent damage during transportOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts in a safe and efficient mannerMaintain productivity, accuracy, and quality standards established by the companyHandle and lift product in accordance with safety guidelinesWork in refrigerated or varying warehouse temperature conditions as requiredKeep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazardsFollow all safety rules, food safety guidelines, and company policiesCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order issues, shortages, or product discrepanciesReport damaged product, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptlyPerform other warehouse duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious
