Talend Framework Developer

CTG is seeking to fill a Talend Framework Developer position for our client. Location: Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 months Duties: + Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT data integration solutions + Define, build, and maintain data ingestion frameworks (batch, real-time, CDC) + Develop and manage data transformation and distribution frameworks + Create reusable components, templates, and development standards + Conduct design reviews and optimize job performance and scalability + Implement best practices for error handling, logging, and monitoring + Develop job parallelization strategies and support mainframe data integration + Perform memory tuning and implement context-driven parameterization + Handle large-scale datasets, complex file processing, and API integrations + Integrate Talend solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) + Work with modern data ecosystems including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, APIs, Kafka, and Snowflake + Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments Skills: + Strong hands-on experience with Talend development (Talend Data Integration / Talend Cloud) + Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling + Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance tuning and optimization + Experience with cloud-based data services across AWS, Azure, or GCP + Familiarity with distributed data processing and streaming frameworks (e.g., Kafka) + Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience: + 5+ years of experience in Talend development and data integration frameworks + Proven experience designing enterprise-grade ETL/ELT frameworks + Experience working with large-scale data environments and complex integrations + Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and modern data architectures + Experience with performance tuning, job optimization, and scalable design patterns Education: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
