Bridge Design Project Manager

Burgess & Niple is looking for au00a0Bridge Design Project Manageru00a0to join our Columbus office.B&N Bridge Design Project Manager Responsibilities- Lead project teams in the completion of engineering calculations and plan preparation for bridge design and rehabilitation projects- Maintain quality control of the work product, manage risk and successfully complete projects on time and within budget- Mentor less experienced engineers to support their development into independent professionals- Work with B&N bridge staff to develop new and maintain current client relationships- Lead pursuits of bridge design projects, including client meetings, proposal preparation, and interviews- Leverage existing and cultivate new relationships with other consulting firms for successful project teaming and delivery- Actively participate in bridge related professional societies/organizations and conferences, including submitting presentation abstracts and award applications to fortify B&N's bridge Engage in a collaborative work environment throughout B&N's bridge design community, promoting knowledge sharing, work sharing and best practicesSkills & Qualifications- A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited civil or structural or equivalent engineering program- Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) Registration or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity within six months- 20+ years of related bridge design with project and staff management experience- Microsoft Word & Excel (Microsoft Project a plus)- Bentley Open Bridge Designer, MDX, AASHTOWare BrR required- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience maintaining client relationships- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
