Overview As an Operations Intern, you will gain insight into how operational teams collaborate across technology, field services, supply chain, and finance to support day-to-day business execution and long-term planning. This role offers hands-on exposure to real operational processes and provides opportunities to contribute to cross-functional projects that support business performance. Responsibilities + Shadow operations teams to learn workflows and decision-making processes + Attend team meetings and participate in Field Service and Sales ride-alongs + Support cross-functional planning and operational projects + Gain exposure to distribution center operations, including inventory and fulfillment + Assist with monthly Automatic Ticket Allocation (ATA) planning + Participate in software, QA, and computer operations meetings + Support financial forecasting and profit and loss (P&L) analysis + Complete administrative tasks and ad hoc project support Learning Objectives + Understand the structure and operations of a lottery organization + Gain exposure to operational, technology, and supply chain processes + Learn how cross-functional teams support business performance + Develop analytical, communication, and business planning skills Qualifications + Currently pursuing a Bacheloru2019s degree in Business or a related field + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook + Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications + Interest in operations management, technology, or business processes + Coursework or exposure to supply chain, finance, or information systems + Prior experience in a business or office-based environment Success Profile u2022 Leading Complexity u2022 Leading People u2022 Leading the Business u2022 Leading Self #LI-MS1 At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $20.00 per hour. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
