Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting within a manufacturing environment in Dallas, Texas. This position is ideal for a motivated leader with strong technical accounting expertise, public accounting experience, and a passion for driving process improvements. The role offers an opportunity to lead a skilled team while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and enhancing operational efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Prepare detailed financial statements and lead consolidation efforts across multiple entities. u2022 Research and implement complex accounting standards, drafting technical memos to support compliance and audit requirements. u2022 Enhance accounting policies and procedures to align with industry best practices. u2022 Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, including automation and workflow optimization. u2022 Supervise inventory and cost accounting processes, analyzing manufacturing variances to support operational decisions. u2022 Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate financial representation of production activities. u2022 Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. u2022 Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and accountability. u2022 Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity and reporting timelines. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance; Masteru2019s degree preferred. u2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required. u2022 Minimum of 8u201310 years of accounting experience, including public accounting and corporate accounting within manufacturing. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting practices. u2022 Proven ability to lead process improvement and automation projects. u2022 Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency in accounting systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms. u2022 Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage and develop teams effectively.
