THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN ROCHESTER, NY. THE RATE OF PAY IS $55 - 70k/ YEARLY. THE OPPORTUNITY: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK As an Accounts Payable Clerk with The Bell Company, you will have the opportunity to process, input, and track project costs on hospitals, laboratories, projects, and large industrial and institutional projects. Accounts Payable experience with similar type projects is preferred. Candidates must have the following credentials to be considered: Verify pricing and quantities on all invoices for compliance with purchase orders. Review and match invoices with Field Requisitions (Note: Company limits and proper approvals) Enter all invoices into the Accounting System Print checks for invoices and payables, due that week. Process proper documentation for approval and signatures. Maintain proper files (both paper and electronically) per the Policy and Procedures Work with projects and departments to resolve invoice/payment issues Handle and Track W-9 from Vendors and issue 1099's annually Familiar with multi-state sales tax. File monthly/quarterly/annual sales and use tax returns. Assist in year end and sales/use tax audits.Additional Requirements: 5 years' experience with Accounts Payable and Cost tracking for comparable sized companies utilizing Computer Accounting Systems. Proven ability in processing, inputting and tracking project costs Proven, stable work history A good understanding of applicable Bell policies and procedures Must be able to verbally communicate, take direction and follow through on all tasks Ability to plan and organize activities Pass a pre-employment drug screening.The Bell Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
