Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings u2013 carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. Role Purpose Develop, maintain and execute successful strategies for regional Transportation and Trade Compliance (T&TC) with alignment to the Global Supply Management (GSM) and Business strategy. Key Responsibilities u2022Define Global customer replenishment strategy u2022Customer KPI ownership/Business reviews/QBRs/Shared Scorecard u2022Host and facilitate global customer S&OP process to balance supply and demand u2022Leverage Global Capacity to determine allocations, process & network mapping End 2 End Supply Chain (E2E SC) view u2022Annual Customer Supply Chain Plans Experiences/Education - Required u2022Bachelor Degree in Business or Supply Chain u20228+ yearsu2019 experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain (SC) Operations with a demonstrated track record of results u2022Mastery of supply chain strategy best practices and philosophy in optimizing operations (Capability) u2022Understanding of process flow from fiber to finished solution (Capacity) u2022SAP knowledge and/or understanding u2022Understanding of product and regional demand u2022Financial acumen (understanding landed cost and VAT to drive decision making) u2022Fluent in written and spoken English u2022Minimum 25% travel time Experiences/Education - Desired + MBA or equivalent degree. + Professional certification in supply chain management, operations, or engineering (APICS, PMP, Six Sigma) + Direct industry/transportation experience. + Experience with global corporation. This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $135,540.00 - $186,368.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
