And if that's you we would love to haveyou join us Job Description As Embedded Software Engineer, you willhave the opportunity to grow your career in embedded software by solvingchallenging problems using modern technologies, tools, and practices.You will exhibit the ability to flex between product softwaredevelopment and test activities. Given tightly coupled hardware andsoftware in our products, previous embedded software experience is aplus. You will report to Team Lead, Embedded Software. You will workHybrid either in Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI. PrimaryResponsibilities: Develop safety- and security-critical embeddedsoftware for Programmable Logic Controllers Build and maintain automatedtests and test frameworks in support of new and existing productfeatures Work in a variety of hardware and software environments,ranging from commercial off-the-shelf to custom System on Chiparchitectures, and from general purpose to embedded real-time operatingsystems Use modern continuous integration and development tools, andpromote continuous improvement of engineering tools and practices acrossthe global development organization Participate as a member of the team,and actively monitor and improve the overall health, predictability, andresponsiveness of the team as well as the organization as a wholeDemonstrate a strong understanding of object-oriented programmingconcepts, C++ and Python are preferred Participate in all aspects of theembedded software quality process, including design and code review, anddeveloping unit and functional testware Implement and execute automatedand manual tests; expand and improve automated test coverage andpractices The Essential qualifications: You will have Bachelor's Degreeor Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience Legal authorization towork in the US is required.
