FTE: 0.01 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details:Optional Part-Time flex schedule with no holidays or weekends JobSummary: Under the supervision of the Interventional RadiologySupervisor and the assigned proctor, the technologist will beresponsible for learning to: assist with assigned interventionalradiographic and related procedures for diagnostic interpretation and/ortherapeutic interventions; document inventory of materials and suppliesused in the related services. Technologist will attend in-serviceeducation programs for interventional radiology procedures. Uponcompletion of program, staff member should be able to meet the minimum,basic competencies of an Interventional Technologist per JobDescription. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Completion of an approved RadiologyTechnology program is required, in lieu of completion of an approvedRadiology Technology program, students in good standing, enrolled in aradiography program, will be accepted. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Basiccomputer skills, HIS and PACS. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registeredand current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is requiredwithin 2 years of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic LifeSupport for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalentis required within 90 days of hire.
