External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.Your Role: The Distribution Associate 2 - AM Shift role atMilliporeSigma in Milwaukee, WI plays a critical role in the fulfillmentof customer orders through the activities of receiving, picking,packing, and shipping of life science materials. Job duties include:Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Load and unload freightOperate equipment to produce documents for workload Locate, move,deliver, or return all materials to proper areas Prepare materials forshipment Accurately document all movement of materials Audit inventorylocations to maintain inventory and location accuracy Verify chemicals,catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size andweights against order documentation found in packing instructions Printand apply all required labels and markings to box to comply withhazardous materials regulations Condense, straighten, and maintainwarehouse areas Work with team leads and supervisors to troubleshootsystem issues Report unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team leadsor any member of management Physical Attributes: May involve standingfor long periods of time, operating powered industrial equipment, andlifting up to 50 pounds unassisted Who You Are Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years offulfillment, customer service, or warehousing experience Oral andwritten communication skills to interact with all levels of staffExperience in a fast-paced environment and adjusting to changingpriorities in the environment Proficiency with computers, scanners,printers, and shipping equipment Experience following good distributionpractices (GDP), where applicable RSREMD Pay Range for this position:$19-$30/hour The offer range represents the anticipated low and highend of the base pay compensation for this position. The actualcompensation offered will be determined by factors such as location,level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off(PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
