This job is ON -SITE. $5,000 sign on bonus FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift:4 Schedule: 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm withan alternating weekend, holiday PRN Job Summary: Provides technical andclerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medicationorders and the monitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure,compound, count, and deliver medications under the supervision of apharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician- Home Delivery is responsible forassisting the home delivery pharmacists in the daily activities to driveand increase home delivery patient management and prescription capturefor the retail pharmacies by communicating patients. Functions withinthe guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code -Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy Practice Sections. Other duties asassigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year of experience as apharmacy technician is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High Schooldiploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacytechnician training program is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Exceptional customer service skills. Proven attention to detail.Experience with 3rd party insurance. Proven ability to communicateeffectively with a diverse group. Outstanding organizational andfollow-up skills. Promotion skills - ability to sell a program.Experience with various computer systems and programs. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: Application for Wisconsin registration as a PharmacyTechnician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12months of hire. Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23 must haveapplied for Wisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 toobtain registration. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam (PTCE)or the National Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) is requiredwithin 6 months of hire.
