Sales Intern CRO

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description JOB OBJECTIVE: The Sales Intern willassist the Client Rep or Corporate Sales Rep with day-to-day tasksincluding customer interactions, promotional activities, vendor show setup, and lab and institute mapping. It will provide the intern withexposure to the business of biotechnology and enable the intern to learnabout account management, the Promega product portfolio, navigatinglarge academic and/or commercial accounts, and learn the basics ofselling principles from the Client Rep or Corporate Sales Rep. COREDUTIES: 1. Assist Client Rep or Corporate Sales Rep in day-to-dayactivities such as sample follow-up, cross-selling, new productdiscussions and direct channel awareness. 2. Capture basic informationfrom various labs such as product focus to expand the CRM database. 3.At the completion of the internship the intern should be familiar withaccount management, understand basic Promega products (genomics,proteomics & cellular analysis) and understand the fundamentals of CRMto obtain customer information. 4. Data analysis using Excel and otherresources. 5. Demonstrates inclusion through their own words and actionsand is accountable for a safe workspace. Acts with kindness, curiosityand respect for others. 6. Understands and complies with ethical, legaland regulatory requirements applicable to our business. KEYQUALIFICATIONS: 1. Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in scienceor business. 2. Interest in the business of biotech. 3. Interest in thebasics of selling. 4. Ability to work cooperatively in a teamenvironment. 5. Outstanding organizational skills. 6. Demonstratedproficiency in digital tools and technology, including Microsoftapplications and mobile platforms, with the ability to adapt andleverage emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, toimprove efficiency, automation, and collaboration. PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS: 1. Prior exposure to a laboratory environment. 2. Priorexposure to sales situations. 3. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word,PowerPoint, Claude AI, ChatGPT. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. Ability to moveobjects up to 25 pounds. 2. Ability to move (around/about) during thecourse of an 8-hour workday. 3. Located in the city of the primaryaccount(s) or in Madison. 4.
