JOB OVERVIEW As a Field Merchandiser,you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase yourorganization and time management skills, your ability to establishretailer relationships, while being the face of Hallmark. You willcollaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement andmaintain inventory levels as well as support fellow team members withseasonal resets and installations, when needed. On occasion you may havethe opportunity to work with other products from other companies in thestores that you service. SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS Your startinghourly pay rate will be $13.00 to $15.00depending on your skills andexperience. Paid training. Hallmark part time employees are offeredvoluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision etc. EligibleEmployees receive annual pay increases. This is a Part-Time positionwith a variable schedule during the work week. Average weekly hours forthis position are between 8-10 hours per week. Availability the weekbefore and after major holidays, which may include weekends isrequired.Availability to support season changeovers, extended services,installations, and inventory support. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESWILL INCLUDE You'll perform service work in the Hallmark department ofvarious retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, departmentstores, and mass retailers. The retail merchandiser position consists ofthree major components: Day-to-day engagement: Utilizing a mobile deviceprovided by Hallmark, you'll restock, organize, and monitor theinventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmarkdepartment. The use of technology is critical in this role, for theday-to-day work as well as communication with your supervisor, reportingtime, providing feedback, and answering surveys for requiredmerchandising activities. Professional and courteous interaction withstore employees, management, and customers is also vital for success inthis role. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product displayat your assigned stores. Holiday support:Hallmark's operations revolvearound seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such asValentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween,Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extendedhours during the work week. On occasions like Valentine's Day,Mother's Day, and Father's Day, you may be required to work on theactual holiday itself, which may include the weekend. DepartmentResets:At times, you may be part of a team responsible for installationsand various taskslike building and installing Hallmark fixtures,relocating card departments and products, as well as resetting cardsections.
