CNC Machinist (Mills | HAAS)

Position Summary -- CNC Machinist (Mills HAAS) 3 DAY WEEKENDWe are seeking an entry to mid-level CNC Machinist with experience operating HAAS mills. This role is ideal for someone with up to 4 years of hands-on machining experience who is looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment.The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring parts are produced to exact specifications. This position offers the opportunity to develop setup skills, improve efficiencies, and work with a team focused on quality and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:- Operate and assist with setup of HAAS CNC milling machines- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions- Perform basic edits and offsets as needed- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure quality standards are met- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep a clean work areaQualifications:- 1--4 years of CNC machining experience (mills preferred)- Experience with HAAS controls is highly preferred- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances- Basic knowledge of G-code and machining processes is a plus- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learnCompensation:- $20--$27/hour, depending on experience- 4 (10) hour daysu00a0- This is a temp to hire opportunityu00a0Nexus Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
