Eatonu2019s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Material Coordinator - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $25 plus $1 shift differential per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Core hours for this role are 3:30pm to 12:00am. What youu2019ll do: Position Overview The material coordinators are responsible for verifying material availability, creating work orders, and coordinating customer deliveries to meet customer expectations. Support with all customer inquiries and promise ship dates. Essential Functions u00b7 Utilize clear to build / clear to ship reports / ERP system to confirm material availability. u00b7 Systematically release work orders to warehouse floor. u00b7 Create customer deliveries per schedule and pick up date. u00b7 Address various internal and external customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, status, services, carriers, and other needs. u00b7 Track orders and shipments and assist with tracing as needed. u00b7 Work collaboratively with GTM team and support in resolving customer trade inquiries. u00b7 Assist with running and summarizing operational reports and details; present information to peers or supervisors as needed. u00b7 Investigate and resolve internal customer complaints / discrepancies with shipments and participate in corrective actions to prevent future errors. u00b7 Follow written and oral instructions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including good housekeeping. u00b7 Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary. u00b7 Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain). u00b7 Capable of managing multiple tasks without losing efficiency or productivity u00b7 Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: u2022 High School Diploma or GED u2022 Basic knowledge of WMS and inventory management systems. u2022 Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specific software applications. u2022 Ability to communicate potential concerns and or customer delays. u2022 Relocation is not provided. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Indianapolis, IN will be considered. u2022 Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. u2022 Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.
