Applicants are required to be eligiblefor employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet therequirement of being a U.S. Citizen.Job DetailsThe ideal candidate for the project manager position will haveexperience in communicating and planning all aspects of programs,including budgets, resource allocations, timelines, and team dynamics.Strong time management and meticulous attention to detail are essential,along with the ability to utilize metrics to foresee and mitigatepotential issues.Responsibilities of this role include ensuring the timely andhigh-quality completion of initiatives while managing programrequirements and coordinating with various stakeholders. Duties includeplanning projects in details, managing schedules for all stakeholdersand working with technical teams to ensure project deliverables are met.This role is also responsible for tracking and communicating thebudgetary and technical status for of each project assigned.Additionally, this role will manage and oversee applicable businessmanagement processes as they relate to projects within their portfolioto include but not limited to purchase order management and invoicing.If you are passionate about driving impactful research and working withcross-functional teams, we invite you to apply.Job SummaryManages assigned project(s) to meet department objectives.Essential FunctionsDevelops project plans, creates schedules and ensures task deliverablesmeet expectations. Collaborates with project contributors to assess andensure successful project outcomes. Defines and ensures resources areassigned to meet project goals. Monitors project and communicatesquality and progress metrics to department and/or staff(s). Recommendsproject budget and monitors and adjusts plan as resource requirementschange. Addresses and resolves project issues to ensure goals remain ontrack.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a related fieldTwo (2) years of experience in project management or related fieldKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience with US Government Contracting (Grants and/or FAR Based)Understanding of additive manufacturing, advanced materials orcompositesFamiliarity with research methodologies and project managementprinciplesAwareness of relevant industry standards and regulationsBasic knowledge of budget management and funding processesStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in project management softwareAbility to analyze data and generate reportsProficiency in risk management and mitigation strategiesAbility to coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams andstakeholdersCapacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meetingdeadlinesStrong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing prioritiesComfortability and confidence to lead client meetings and regular teamupdatesLeadership qualities to motivate and guide multi-disciplinary, technicalresearch teamsAttention to detail in monitoring project progress and deliverablesPhysical RequirementsAbility to operate a computer and other office equipment including butnot limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.Ability to interpret effectively, accurately and impartially, bothreceptively and expressively.Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchan e information.Ability to remain in a stationary position.
