This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Title Paralegal Trust AdministrationFLSA Status Non-ExemptPosition Summary:The Estate Planning & Trust AdministrationParalegal provides comprehensive support to the Trust Administrator andCPA within the Estate Planning Group. This role is responsible forassisting with trust administration matters, estate settlementprocesses, fiduciary accounting coordination, and preparation of estateplanning documents. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized,and comfortable working with sensitive financial and legal information.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Assist the Trust Administrator with day-to-day trust administration tasks2. Prepare trust funding documentation and beneficiary correspondence3. Coordinate asset transfers and retitling of accounts4. Maintain trust administration checklists and timelines5. Communicate with financial institutions and beneficiaries as directed6. Gather financial records and tax-related documentation7. Assist with preparation and organization of materials for fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041) and estate tax returns8. Coordinate with the CPA regarding asset valuations, income reporting, and distributions9. Maintain organized financial files for trusts and estates10. Assist with client correspondence and document execution processes11. Maintain electronic and physical client filesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:1. Associate or bachelors degree preferred2. 2+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration preferred3. Familiarity with fiduciary accounting principles is a plus4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills5. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal practice management software preferred8. Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and financial professionals9. Ability to work 9-hour daily schedule M-Th with day on Fridays, overtime as needed, and maintain an acceptable level of attendance and punctuality.The above is intended to describe the general content of andrequirements for the performance of this job.
