Pool/Activities Supervisor

Status: Full time, seasonal (through October)Schedule: Wed-Sun, shift hours flexibleHourly Rate: $23 - $24/hr based on experienceSUMMARYThe Pool Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the 3 pools at the Juniper Preserve. This role is required to ensure set-up/breakdown of the pool, welcoming guests, attending to the daily needs of the pools, and enforcing safety rules.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSetting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture.Ensuring that the swimming pools, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.Ensure towels stations are stocked.Welcoming guests and ensuring their safety and comfort.Providing guests with towels, shade, and attending to their requests.Clearing used towels, glasses and trash.Enforcing safety protocols as set out by the resort.Reporting any damages or incidents to Management.Managing the pool attendants, cleaning schedule and performing daily inspections.QUALIFICATIONSRequired:One year of prior experience in hospitality or pool services.Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for service.Must pass a drug test and background checkSKILLS AND COMPETENCIESStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDSOutdoors approximately 75% of the shift, indoors 25%.Continuous standing and walking required; occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.Must be able to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work in varied weather conditions.Valid driver's license required; occasional driving on property.Must be comfortable with radio and phone communication, computer systems, and minor equipment handling. Must follow safety protocols and use MSDS for handling chemicals when necessary.
