We are looking for a highly energetic, result oriented, passionate, and hands-on Superintendent with a desire to join a growing team. The person should be self-starter, adaptable with attentive to detail and able to work with minimal supervision. The Superintendent position will work in close collaboration with project management and human resources to coordinate technician work force planning, resource dissemination and coordination, general oversight of field operations while providing technical direction to technicians, maintenance of safety standards, productivity, schedule, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and having a strong understanding of the union contract. What you will need: u2022 10 plus years related experience or equivalent role u2022 OHSA 30 certification u2022 Must meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements. u2022 Must meet all requirements to be properly badged and able to meet all client requirements to access the jobsite. u2022 Familiar with construction management software as needed. u2022 Proficient with Microsoft office. u2022 AutoCAD, a plus for use with scheduling, spreadsheets, and cost control u2022 Proficient in understanding building plans and specifications u2022 Team player with field supervision, project management and company administration staff u2022 Excellent communication skills. u2022 Good understanding of building systems. u2022 Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential. u2022 Ability to plan and organize a team effort. u2022 Good client management and goodwill building ability. u2022 Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of the teams. u2022 Effective time management and logical decision-making ability. u2022 Capacity to handle pressure. u2022 Willing to travel extensively across multiple sites. u2022 Strong focus on quality and safety. u2022 Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure situations. u2022 Self-starter with ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills Equal Employment Opportunity: CBRE is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
