The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Role Purpose Corning is seeking a Senior Director, D&IT Engagement & Digital Enablement to lead the strategic alignment, delivery, and evolution of digital and technology capabilities supporting Finance and key enterprise staff functions, including but not limited to Human Resources, Legal, Global Security, Aviation, and Health Management Services. This role operates within a hybrid modelu2014ensuring strong operational performance, governance, and reliability today while progressively advancing more digital, datau2011driven, and AIu2011enabled ways of working. Reporting to the DVP & CIO for Corporate Technology and Staffs, the Senior Director is accountable for endu2011tou2011end D&IT partnership, spanning strategy, solution delivery, platform stewardship, operational excellence, and digital enablement. The role serves as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to senior business leaders, helping them pragmatically and responsibly leverage emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to improve business outcomes, productivity, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Business Partnership & Engagement Serve as the senior D&IT partner to Finance and enterprise staff leaders, aligning technology to business strategy. Translate priorities into digital, data, and AIu2011enabled roadmaps and advise executives on emerging technologies. Build trusted relationships balancing responsiveness, risk, and longu2011term enterprise alignment. Technology Strategy, Platforms & Enablement Provide strategic oversight of enterprise platforms supporting Finance and staff functions. Ensure solutions are secure, integrated, and aligned to enterprise architecture and data standards. Drive modernization through analytics, automation, and responsible AI adoption. Operational & Architectural Oversight Oversee platform operations, service performance, and continuous improvement. Provide architectural stewardship across solution design, integrations, and data flows. Balance operational stability with innovation and selective experimentation. Delivery, Governance & Risk Management Lead delivery of digital and technology initiatives from intake through execution. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, SOX, audit, and regulatory requirements. Partner with Legal, Risk, Security, and Audit to manage technology, data, and AI risks. Portfolio, Investment & Value Management Lead demand intake, prioritization, and portfolio management. Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, vendors, and sourcing strategies. Increase transparency and accountability for value realization and business outcomes. Leadership & Organizational Development Lead and develop highu2011performing teams across digital, platform, data, and architecture domains. Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. Advance agile, productu2011oriented practices and upskilling in digital, data, and AI capabilities. Experiences/Education - Required u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field (Masteru2019s preferred) u2022 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital or IT organizations u2022 Experience overseeing application/platform operations and architecture or solution design u2022 Experience supporting Finance and enterprise staff functions u2022 Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills Experiences/Education - Desired u2022 Experience in global or regulated environments u2022 Familiarity with major enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, OneStream) u2022 Knowledge of SOX, audit, cybersecurity, privacy, and AI governance u2022 Experience leading digital or AIu2011enabled transformation initiatives This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $194,764.00 - $267,801.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
