Job Title: Mechanical HVAC Design EngineerJob Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for HVAC design in large government buildings, multifamily residences, and office spaces. This role involves conducting heating and cooling load calculations, designing in both AutoCAD and Revit, and managing project deadlines while interacting with clients and architects. Responsibilities + Design HVAC systems for large government buildings, multifamily residences, and office spaces. + Conduct heating and cooling load calculations. + Create designs using AutoCAD and Revit. + Perform site visits to ensure project compliance. + Manage project deadlines and interact with clients and architects. Essential Skills + 8+ years of mechanical HVAC design experience. + Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. + Experience in building design for various projects. + Strong project management skills. + Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with construction documents. + Ability to work on any type of commercial buildings. Work Environment We offer a flexible work schedule, typically 8-5, with the ability to work on projects from any of our locations. The work involves managing projects, ensuring quality assurance and quality control in design, and handling budgets and scope of work. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
