Learn more at . Job Summary Install, inspect, service, repair swing doors and automatic door mechanisms in accordance with the manufactureu2019s, state/local and federal codes and guidelines. This is a first shift 7am to 3:30pm M-F schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: u2022 Inspect, install, repair rated door assemblies. u2022 Adjust doors to open or close with the correct amount of effort u2022 Make simple adjustments to electric openers u2022 Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning u2022 Order materials, supplies or equipment u2022 Repair or replace worn, damaged or defective mechanical parts u2022 Install hardware or other interior/exterior fixtures u2022 Assemble structural components u2022 Position equipment using hand tools, power tools or heavy equipment u2022 Move large objects using heavy equipment u2022 Remove parts or components from equipment u2022 Run wiring to connect equipment u2022 Interpret blueprints, specifications or diagrams to inform installation, development or operation activities u2022 Assemble electrical components, subsystems, or equipment u2022 Maintains logs, performs rounds and completes maintenance work orders, tests and inspections.
